Audio Cable For Sale

In the mid 1970's I moved from Baltimore to Atlanta to pursue a new career as a recording engineer. Over the next five years I owned and operated a recording studio. In 1981 I decided to pursue something less stressful and more profitable so I started the first real-time tape duplication facility in the Southeast, while also managing sales for several other business supplying recording media and equipment. At the close of the 1980's I began working as a manufacturer's representative for a number of professional audio brands, among them, AMEK mixing consoles and Mogami cable. This led to my joining AMEK Consoles as a regional sales manager and US Press Officer (1989-1994).

I had begun selling audio cable back in 1985 when I managed Showcase Audio in Atlanta, a Pro Audio dealership which was equipping recording studios throughout the Southeast. We used cable from Gotham, Connectronics and ProCo in these installations. After leaving AMEK I became sales manager for a new systems integration company in Atlanta and we quickly emerged as a nationally recognized reseller and installer for Gepco, Mogami and Gotham cable. In 2001 I joined Gepco as their Eastern regional sales manager. In 2004 I left Gepco and restarted my sales of Gotham Cable as Gotham Audio USA and Gotham Audio Sales Co. until July 2025, when I sold my rights to the Gotham trademark and associated names to WARM AUDIO.

My sales of audio cable and assemblies are continuing as The Bedford Consultancy, a name I had been using since 1989 for sales of audio equipment and educational activities related to the history of audio technology.
